look at carmen electra under the cut (non work safe). Think she looks sexy? I sure as fuck do. She's HOT. I saw this picture, and anytime I see pictures of Carmen Electra I think "finally, a celebrity with some meat on her bones and realistic proportions". Yeah, her boobs are fake but they make sense on her body. I like working out to her work out tape because at my fittest and tannest, I have a similar body shape to her. We both have bellies, waists that don't curve in that much but still enough to qualify as "hourglass", we both have wide ribcages and round, muscly legs. We both have trouble with our weight fluctuating. I don't see her as a role model, I've always kind of been annoyed by her, but I have also always seen her as a breath of fresh air.
Onto my rant:

people saw pictures of her from this performance and are saying she is fat and has "let herself go" and has "muffin tops". Good lord, she's human!? What do you look like sitting behind your typewriter anyway? What are we doing to ourselves to expect so much from people? What's considered "in shape" is starting to become something that I could ever hope to achieve from slaving away in the gym for a few hours a day, then returning home to a meal of lettuce leafs and air. And I'd look disgusting. That wide ribcage I mentioned earlier? Yeah... does not look good with no skin on it.

In conclusion, congrats to Carmen Electra for looking the way she does and not going the way of Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, and so many others. Here's an idea. Work out, eat right, and love whatever body comes from that, and stop screwing with my head and making me feel fat. To quote Tyra Banks you people are the reason why girls are leaning over toilet bowls right now.
